Under the direction of founder and artistic director Kathy Thibodeaux, silver medallist at the 1982 USA International Ballet Competition, Ballet Magnificat!’s mastery of dance rivals that of any other professional company. Headquartered in Jackson, Mississippi, the company performs over 100 times annually throughout the world. Dancers have included former members of Les Ballet Jazz de Montreal, Spokane Ballet, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, the State Theatre of the Czech Republic, Oldenburgishes Staatstheater of West Germany, Ballet Mississippi, Eternia Dance Theater of Sweden, Royal Winnipeg Ballet, and the Houston Ballet Academy.
